The Salvation Army Family Service Center in Wyandotte County (Kansas City) is for the less fortunate in the community. The faith based charity is committed to helping the working poor, unemployed, and vulnerable. Some of what may be provided to those that qualify include free food from a pantry, rent or utility bill help, information on local shelters or housing resources.
