Residents of Salt Lake have access to several community clinics and health care centers that may be able to offer them free or low cost medical care. A wide number and variety of services are offered by the clinics. Some health care may be free to qualified patients. Examples of assistance provided are below, however you will need to call or apply at a Salt Lake health center to get full details.
Many of the locations are federal government qualified, and therefore can offer free or low cost assistance to the working poor, unemployed, and people who do not have health insurance. Depending on the patient’s income, they may need to pay some money towards their medical bills, but usually the fees due from the patient will be minimal. Provided income qualifications are met. The dental and health care provided is comprehensive and high quality.
