Free clinics Pima County.

Find details on health centers and free clinics in Tucson and Pima County Arizona. The centers, many of which are charities or federally funded,  provide the low income with various free or low cost / affordable health care services. People with no health insurance, low-income families or individuals that are underinsured can get the medical and even dental care they need from a health clinic in Pima County.

There may be walk-in patients accepted, free medical care for women, medications, help for diabetics and more. Other medical services at a free or low cost community clinic may be offered on a sliding fee scale, which will bill patients a lower rate on their medical expenses.

The community clinics can usually provide primary health care for patients of all ages, including adults, kids, and immigrants as well as Spanish speakers. Free clinics may provide immunizations to patients, blood pressure screening, minor surgery, medications, women care, and exams. Adults, children, immigrants, and others may all get free medical or dental care.

While the care offered at a center is of the highest quality, and is usually affordable, not all patients can be helped, and the deciding factor will be their exact condition. If a Pima County health center can’t assist you, they can usually refer people to a range of medical specialty services and other centers across Arizona.
